My fascination with movement & meditation started in the mid 80’s whilst travelling overseas, I was feeling particularly unwell due to drinking what I believed to be fresh safe water, that I later saw village chickens swim in !!! Laying in a hammock thinking I would not be able to ride my elephant back down the river I met a wonderful monk who introduced me to the power of the mind, breathes & movement.
This meeting & recovery sent me on a journey of fantastic learning & self-fulfilment studying human movement in every aspect available to me. My Exmouth studio has Gratz equipment & Thai silk slings. My philosophy; physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness which leads to being more focused, a body that is flexible & moves freely, more peaceful, reduced stress, better sleep patterns & to experience joy in the present moment.
My teaching style is a unique technique of intelligent physical fitness methods that utilize your deep core stabilizing muscles combined with correct breathing and coordination assisting you to create longer stronger leaner more flexible muscles that increase agility allowing your body to move freely. Participating in challenging activities, creating exciting movement, inviting playfulness and fun into your active lifestyle.
